From classroom supplies to college scholarships, the ST PTO runs a range of programs that directly benefit our teachers, staff, and students throughout the year.

Tools for Teachers

Throughout the year, we allocate funds to supply our dedicated staff with essential items they use regularly, stocking designated areas on campus for easy access.

From reams of paper to Clorox disinfectant wipes, pens, pencils, tissue paper, and paper towels — we strive to meet the needs of our educators and staff.

Paper and Kleenex are among the most requested items. We also provide a variety of snacks including Goldfish and Ritz crackers, granola bars, cookies, and snack gummies, ensuring our school community stays nourished and energized.

Staff Appreciation

Welcoming back our dedicated teachers and staff after the summer break fills us with joy and excitement for the year ahead. To kick off their return, we organize a delightful breakfast to show our appreciation for their hard work and dedication.

Concurrently, we host our first Tools for Teachers event of the year, ensuring our educators have the necessary supplies to start strong.

Throughout the year, the ST PTO allocates funds to support various staff appreciation events — celebrating birthdays, team accomplishments, and special occasions. These initiatives underscore our commitment to nurturing a supportive and uplifting environment for our valued teachers and staff.

We create a stronger ST community by supporting the staff and students through donations and special events. From supplying teachers with everyday essentials to funding scholarships for graduating seniors, every initiative we run is driven by our passion for this school.

The Santa Teresa High School Parent Teacher Organization (ST PTO) is a volunteer-run organization created and managed by parents. Our purpose is to advance academic and social enrichment programs at Santa Teresa High School.

The easiest way to get involved is to attend our monthly meetings, held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm in the school library (or virtually via Google Meet). You can also volunteer for events, donate, or help with our annual fundraisers.

We accept donations via Venmo (@Santa-Teresa-PTO), credit card at stpto.square.site, or by check payable to ST PTO, PO Box 53422, San Jose, CA 95153. All donations are tax-deductible.

Graduating seniors can apply by crafting essays based on topics chosen by the ST PTO. Winners are selected based on the quality and merit of their essays. Contact us at contact@stpto.org for more information on the current application cycle.

Teachers interested in applying for PTO grants should contact us at contact@stpto.org. Grants are used to purchase curriculum materials, learning resources, and professional development opportunities.
